The kindness I was shown at my first meet in 2015 planted a seed in me that made me fall in love with the sport and kept me competing all these years and I strive to be a part of everybody's positive powerlifting experience.
Ever since I was told that my attitude and strength cultivate a positive first meet experience for others, I've been an active presence at local meets by assisting with setup and breakdown, announcing, commentating, and coming to support those who have supported me in the past.
My deadlift is conventional but my powerlifting career has been everything but. I spent my rookie years making a lot of rookie mistakes. I could have accomplished so much more way sooner if I knew a fraction of what I know now but through this journey I learned that whatever I'm rushing to accomplish will be even easier to achieve if I take my time.
After nationals 2025, I said l was going to switch weight classes and qualify for primetime at nationals the following year. I did more thar just quality... I won! This year I'm continuing to say my bold goals out loud. I will break the women's open 84kg deadlift world record.
220kg squat
125kg bench press
255kg deadlift
600kg total
